Have you ever had an idea for a piece of jewelry pop into your head? Or see a piece that has already been made but wanted to change up the design and make it a tad different? That’s the greatest thing about a jeweler who does custom designs. You can come with an idea, a stone, or old metals that you’d love to make something new out of. You get to be the designer and create a beautiful piece of jewelry that is unique and special to you. It’s a step by step process that we know you’ll love!
Our website has a feature that makes custom design inquiries even easier. We have a tab called “Custom Design”. There you will find a form where you can fill out your information and tell us about your design idea. If you have a rough sketch or other example of what you are looking to create, there is a place to upload that at the bottom of the form. Examples are great but not required.
You can also call our shop (252-451-9270) to schedule a custom design appointment. Below are just a few pictures of custom designs that John has worked on. We would love to add yours to his work bench!
This design is a great example of how you can use gemstones from jewelry you no longer wear and repurpose them into a stunning piece of jewelry that you'll always reach for.
This wedding ring was created for one of our customers using the old gold and diamonds that she brought in! This design completely transformed her original Marquise stone with a more modern look.
If you already have the ring or jewelry piece of your dreams but are looking to add a little extra something to it, consider hand engraving. Hand engraving is a great way to add more character to the pieces you already have and love. In some instances, a date or initails can be engraved so you can always carry that special memory with you.
We know that jewelry is personal and can be worn and passed down through the ages. That is why we love working with clients to create custom pieces that they will love and enjoy for years to come. Every detail is important is to us.
